JOHN MUIR TRUST
Young People & Nature
THE BRIEF
The John Muir Trust is a community-focused conservation charity dedicated to the experience, protection and repair of wild places across the UK.
Inspired by Year of Young People 2018 in Scotland and Year of Green Action 2019, the John Muir Trust co-designed a short youth survey and spoke with and listened to over 400 young people about their connection with the outdoors and nature. They commissioned us to produce a collection of ‘Young People and Nature’ films – aiming to explore young people’s connections with the outdoors.
OUR PITCH
We need to showcases a variety of young peoples’ voices – the places, connections and ideas that matter to them. The suite of films (< 2 mins) will case-study several young people, their experiences and views about wild places across Scotland.
