Beyond Borders Fesival Trailer:

CHALLENGE:

Beyond Borders approached FoSho Studios with the challenge of enhancing the visibility and impact of their annual International Festival at Traquair House. They aimed to attract a larger, more diverse audience and effectively communicate the festival’s focus on global issues, cultural heritage, and well-being activities. The objective was to create engaging content that would resonate with a wide audience and highlight the festival’s unique blend of cultural and intellectual events.

Youth in Politics Books, Brexit & Bullsh*t:

SOLUTION:

Our approach aimed to capture the festival’s essence, emphasising the unique setting of Traquair House and the diverse range of activities and discussions. We proposed a mix of storytelling and visual highlights to connect with audiences on a personal level, showcasing the festival’s rich programme and its significance in addressing global issues. There were some key people and events happening that lent themselves to some longer form storytelling as well as some short form video marketing.

John Kerry on the Climate Crisis:

EXECUTION:

Our team worked closely with Beyond Borders to document the festival’s vibrant atmosphere and key moments. We filmed panel discussions, musical performances, and well-being activities, producing a series of videos from in-depth interviews with participants. These included young people interviewing prominent figures like Alastair Campbell, and fellows from the Women in Conflict 1325 Fellows Programme sharing their powerful narratives of peacebuilding and art as a tool for change.

Women in Conflict 1325 Fellowship:

IMPACT:

The project resulted in a significant increase in online engagement around the festival. The promotional videos successfully conveyed the festival’s key messages and cultural significance, attracting a more diverse audience. Notable feedback included praise for the inclusive and intimate atmosphere of the festival, the inspirational impact on young people, and the meaningful dialogues on global issues. The collaboration with Beyond Borders not only met their initial objectives but also enhanced the festival’s overall visibility and prestige, positioning it as a must-attend event in the Scottish cultural calendar.
