Inspire Inclusion with Living Wage Scotland:

CHALLENGE:

In anticipation of International Women’s Day, Living Wage Scotland embarked on a marketing campaign themed “Inspire Inclusion,” aiming to spotlight the Real Living Wage’s role in mitigating gender inequality in the labour market. With only a month to pull it together, the challenge was to craft a narrative that not only educates but also resonates with a broad audience – including those previously unaware of gender pay disparities and the comprehensive benefits of the Living Wage and becoming accredited. We were tasked with creating a multi-media campaign that leveraged image, audio, video and text.

SOLUTION:

FoSho STUDIOS devised a multi-faceted marketing campaign to address this challenge, culminating in the lead-up to International Women’s Day. The campaign featured a flagship video, three project videos spotlighting businesses championing the Living Wage, and a series of social posts designed to engage and inform. Additionally, a 1000-word blog post was developed to deepen the narrative, complemented by a selection of photographs that visually underscored the campaign’s message of inclusion and equality.

The campaign’s execution was meticulously timed and coordinated, involving pre-production interviews, strategic content creation, and ensuring that the content was in-hand with the Living Wage Scotland marketing team for distribution across various platforms across the week leading up to #IWD. The content was carefully crafted to align with the “Inspire Inclusion” theme, incorporating copywriting for the blog post and creative direction for photography and social media content. This comprehensive approach ensured a cohesive and impactful campaign, ready for a strategic rollout in the lead-up to International Women’s Day.

IMPACT:

The “Inspire Inclusion” campaign is expected to significantly alter perceptions surrounding the Living Wage and gender equality in the workplace. By combining informative videos, compelling photography, engaging social posts, and insightful blog content, the campaign aims to educate audiences about the importance of the Living Wage in fostering gender equality. The goal is to inspire businesses to pursue Living Wage accreditation and encourage the public to support such businesses, thereby promoting a more inclusive and equitable labor market.
