British Heart Foundation – CVD Prioritisation
Public, Education & Social Impact | Flagship Animation & Social Trailer
The British Heart Foundation needed an animation that could make the case for prioritising cardiovascular disease to the people who decide where local NHS resources go: Integrated Care Boards, NHS England leads, regional clinical and programme leads, and the wider commissioning audience across England. After fifty years of progress, premature deaths from CVD are rising again, and the brief had to land that urgency alongside a clear, hopeful call to action.
As a returning BHF content partner, we developed a flagship 2D animation that wove together the data, the system challenges, and a series of real-world scenarios featuring health professionals and patients in London, Birmingham, Yorkshire, and Manchester. The script was developed in close collaboration with BHF’s Health and Care team, with the visual style, pacing, and authoritative-but-hopeful register all built to BHF brand guidelines. The piece was delivered as a flagship animation alongside a forty-five-second social cutdown, timed to land ahead of the CVD Leadership Meeting and to support the case for CVD prioritisation across local health systems.
